How can we help?

In-House Drawing Office & 3D Modelling

At the heart of our project planning and execution is PICM’s state-of-the-art Drawing Office, equipped with the latest industry-leading software and staffed by experienced draftsmen, detailers, and engineers. This internal capability ensures precision, efficiency, and seamless integration between design, fabrication, and site execution.

Our Drawing Office uses the following technologies:

  • Tekla Structures: (In-House)

  • For advanced 3D modelling and detailing of steel structures, including connections, clash detection, and fabrication-ready shop drawings. Tekla enables us to generate highly accurate Bill of Materials (BoMs), CNC data, and erection plans directly from the model.

  •
  • Autodesk AutoCAD & Plant 3D: (Outsourced)

  • Used for detailed piping layouts, general arrangements (GAs), isometric drawings, and plant design. AutoCAD ensures compatibility and collaboration with client-provided design files and standards.

  •
  • Revit & Navisworks: (Outsourced)

  • For coordination with architectural and MEP disciplines, enabling full BIM (Building Information Modelling) integration on complex projects.

  •
  • SolidWorks & Inventor: (Outsourced)

  • For mechanical design and precision component modelling, especially for custom fabrications and assemblies.

Key Capabilities of Our Drawing Office:

  • -Fully coordinated 3D drawings for fabrication, assembly, and erection

  • -Generation of fabrication shop drawings and cutting lists directly from models

  • -Accurate clash detection and design validation before fabrication or site work begins

  • -Custom detailing of structural steelmechanical systemspiping, and support frames

  • -High-efficiency revision control and change tracking

  • -Seamless communication between our engineering, workshop, and site teams

Our Drawing Office ensures that every project begins with clarity and ends with precision, supporting PICM’s commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions with minimal rework and maximum efficiency.
