Quality Control and Assurance

At PICM, quality is not just a department—it’s embedded in every stage of our operations. Our reputation is built on consistent excellence, attention to detail, and a firm commitment to delivering work that exceeds client expectations and complies with all applicable standards and regulations.

Our Quality Control framework is designed to ensure that every product, weld, structure, and installation meets or surpasses industry benchmarks. This includes:

  • ISO 9001:2015 Compliance:

  • Our quality management systems are aligned with international standards, ensuring consistency, traceability, and accountability across all projects.

  •
  • Material Traceability:

  • All materials used are sourced from certified suppliers, and each component is traceable through documentation and testing records.

  •
  • Welding & Fabrication Inspections:

  • All welding processes are carried out by qualified personnel and undergo NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) such as ultrasonic, radiographic, dye penetrant, and magnetic particle testing.

  •
  • Dimensional and Visual Inspections:

  • Structures and components are verified for dimensional accuracy and surface finish both in the workshop and on-site before handover.

  •
  • Site Installation Checks:

  • Erection and installation work is inspected at every critical milestone to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

  •
  • Documentation & Reporting:

  • Full quality dossiers are compiled, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), material certificates, QA reports, and handover packs.

  •
  • Continuous Improvement:

  • We encourage feedback, conduct internal audits, and apply lessons learned to improve our processes and enhance future project delivery.

PICM’s integrated Quality Control approach ensures that all aspects of design, fabrication, and construction are rigorously controlled, promoting longevity, safety, and performance in every project we undertake.
